Grandma, Aunt Doris, and Aunt Virginia...My Lovelies

So much better than JB's burn pics...don't you think?! I cannot say what a treat it was for me to have Aunt Doris, Aunt Virginia, and Grandma come to visit me. I wish I could see them so much more. I'm so thankful for the time we had to visit and share stories. I think I could have stayed up all night chatting. I hope I didn't wear them out... =)

JB'S UNCONQUERABLE SOUL

"I hate burns." That's what I said on the way to the hospital. Interestingly enough, many others have repeated the same sentiment to me word for word over the last several weeks. Of course it's a given that everyone hates burns; sort of how we pretty much agree on crocodile bites, falling to the ground from twenty stories, or drowning. Still, to hear so many people say it so simply, emphatically, and with such empathy was a balm to my own singed fear. "I hate burns."

I know this is a heck of a place to start blogging again, but I told you all I would post pictures so here they are. I wish I knew how to post without collaging. I just can't figure out how Lacy could get so many pictures at once. Needless to say, or perhaps as I have already said to you personally, this was our frightening event for the year. I guess what I have to be thankful for is that JB has a lot of cheerful fortitude. It was because of him that we all shared some good laughs during the ordeal. I'm fairly certain that he has no nerve endings and therefore feels no pain.

Girl Trip!!

Missing our Lacy in warm, sunny St. George. We had a fun overnighter a couple of weeks ago. We got to visit with Lonni Clarke...my dear friend and artist extraordinaire. Can't believe I didn't get any pictures with her. She spent Friday evening with us and we all "enjoyed" watching the most bizarro film of all time. Had so much fun with the girls and TJ. Jade and I couldn't get over how warm it was...had to get in our suits and head over to the pool (course I just did the warm jacuzzi...so nice!) Plus we got to have lunch at Cafe Rio with Snook, PJ, Aunt Laris, Uncle Clyde, Trena, and Neil. That was amazingly fun, especially Jade's and Delila's exceptional skill at ordering for all of us. Then we went and saw the house Snook and PJ just purchased. We are so glad to have them in St. George now. The girls and I did some sale shopping at the mall, then headed for home. Pretty sure Joey and I will be moving there someday.

Sweetie, TJ...Strike a Pose

I know it's way past time to update
my blog. I do still look at each of yours,
usually in such a hurry I forget to reply.
Still I haven't given up yet...

Here's the good stuff!

Grandma's gotta snap pics of TJ's cuteness,
sometimes. . .
Finally got around to sharing.
